Message an Author

Whether you have a question before claiming a review copy, after you've started reading a book, or while trying to leave your review, you can message an author at any time.

It's not possible to message an author who doesn't have an active Booksprout plan. Messaging is not activated for authors who don't have a paid plan in order to reduce the chance of spam. That would mean that they wouldn't be able to reply to you, which is why we have limited your ability to message them in the first place. If you want to get in touch with an author who doesn't have messages activated, please contact our support staff at [email protected] and we can relay the message for you if necessary.
