Understanding and Joining Author Teams

At Booksprout, we've introduced the concept of Teams to enhance your experience as a reviewer and to deepen your connection with your favorite authors. Here's how Teams can benefit you and how you can be a part of them:

• What Are Teams?: Teams on Booksprout are groups centered around specific authors. By joining an author's Team, you get the opportunity to follow their work more closely and support them in their publishing journey.
• Perks of Joining a Team: One of the major benefits of being part of an author's Team is that any book you claim from that author does not count against your maximum book limit. This means you can enjoy more of what you love without restrictions.
• How to Join a Team: To become a member of an author's Team, start by visiting the page of a book hosted by that author. Look for the "Hosted by" link, which will take you to the Team page.
• Applying to a Team: On the Team page, you'll find the option to apply to join their Team. Click the "Apply" button to send your request.
• Approval Process: Your membership in a Team is subject to approval by the author. Once the author reviews and approves your request, you will be added to their Team.
