Understanding Book Statuses

This article will help you understand the different book status groups you'll see Booksprout:

New & Unreleased: The New and Unreleased tab features books that have never been released on Booksprout before and have a future publication date.

Author & Team: Books will appear in this tab when an author you follow or are on their review team has released a new book.

Exclusive: Exclusive books are for reviewers who are Top Reviewers. To qualify for these books, you need to meet the following:

• Complete at least 30 reviews.
• Maintain an on-time review rate of 70% over the last 30 days.
• Write high-quality reviews that adhere to our guidelines (subject to manual approval).

Once you meet the above criteria, you may apply to be considered.

Past Releases: This status includes new review campaigns from books that have already been released on Booksprout and have publication dates that have already passed.
